När jag läste The Poison Tree av Erin Kelly älskade jag den. Den var The Sick Rose har fått sitt namn från en dikt av poeten William Blake.

This poem which is taken from ‘Songs of Experience‘, portrays two main characters – the ‘rose’ as innocent and the ‘worm’ as evil.The ‘rose’ symbolizes love and innocence whereas ‘The O Rose, thou art sick!
